Ensure that your chicken has access to clean water daily which is enough to last the whole day. Clean water boosts the chicken’s appetite and aids digestion. The chicken will grow even more weight as a result of this. Watering points should be spacious to reduce overcrowding which might lead to death.
2. Stick to the vaccine schedule to the letter.
Following your doctor’s recommendations, rigorously adhere to the vaccine schedule so that if the terrible disease strikes one of your chickens, the others will be safe. It prevents birds from dangerous diseases that have no treatment.
3. Dumping death birds
When a chicken dies, burn it or bury it so that the disease does not spread to the remaining chickens. Some disease-causing organisms will continue to live in the dead bodies of birds. Make an appointment with your veterinarian to get the other birds examined and possibly treat them.
4. Make sure the feeding areas are spotless.
You will be able to avoid infections connected with dirt if the areas where you give your chicken food are clean. Wash away droppings from the house and clean feeding and watering containers.
