Tuchel needs to fix a lot of things, but he won’t have time to make a new plan because Chelsea plays again on Saturday. This time, they are playing West Ham United, who just tied Conte’s team.

The Hammers have also gotten off to a very shaky start to their season, but the 1-1 draw will have given them a great deal of optimism, which means that Chelsea will need to play at their greatest best if they don’t want to fall behind once again.

The transfer window was scheduled to close at midnight on Thursday, and we can only hope that Tuchel is able to make a few fresh additions before it does so. His present group of players is having a lot of trouble getting up to speed.

Chalobah and Reece James missed midweek with injuries. Chalobah has a knee ailment, although James might return after a sickness.

Fofana came from Leicester City and might debut this weekend. Cucurella has taken over as left-back/wing-back, therefore Ben Chilwell will sit.

Loftus-Cheek injured his hamstring against the Saints and may miss the game, while N’Golo Kante is missing.

Chelsea bought Aubameyang from Barcelona because they need a striker. We don’t believe he’ll acquire his work permit in time to play on Saturday.
