The Reds are back in League action after celebrating their FA Cup triumph against Chelsea last weekend, it’s two down for Liverpool and two-to-go.

History is set to happen again, just as it went down in 2019, when the Premier League title race went down to the final day. Liverpool and Man City were the both clubs involved.

1. Liverpool’s quadruple quest

The Reds are on a quest of making history, by being the first English club to win the quadruple.

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool continues to excel in Cup competitions as a Champions League final awaits them against Real Madrid. However Liverpool’s main priority right now should be edging Manchester City to the Premier League title on Sunday before making preparations against Real Madrid in the Champions League final.

2. Steven Gerrard’s commitment

The former Liverpool star is completely committed to the Premier League game against Manchester City as he has already sounded warning to Manchester City.

If Steven Gerrard’s Aston Villa can cause a major upset against Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City on Sunday at the Etihad Stadium, then Liverpool will be crowned the 2021-22 Premier League champions ahead of Man City.
