She reveal say her husband begin dey complain afta di nurse give am injection for inside di room and im go toilet go vomit.
“Wen di nurse bin inject am, im dey tok say im dey feel uncomfortable. Di nurse bin come around 1:00 pm on Tuesday and im hand don begin dey swell as dat time,” di wife tok.
She tok say Mohbad sustain injury wen im get fight wit im friend Prime Boy on Sunday night 10 September for Ikorodu Town Hall and na minor one wey make am no go any hospital.
For over three hours, di wife stand for witness box dey tok wetin happun from di day wey Mohbad go do show for Ikorodu reach wen im finally die.
According to Wunmi, Mohbad reach di Ikorodu show around 7:00pm on 10 September 2023 and im perform around 9:00pm. As dem try comot di venue na im plenti fans bin gather round and dem no see road take comot di venue.
“He (Mohbad) wan leave wen im finish im performance but everywhere don block. Im tell im friend Prime Boy make e go tell im brother (Adura Aloba) to tell bouncer say dia car wan comot but dey say make we wait for oda artiste to perform finish.
“Na Prime Boy come complain say why Mohbad brother go dey act rude to am like dat say make Mohbad do something but Mohbad tok say im no fit dey discipline im brother for public. By dat time, Mohbad don dey really vex sake of say dem don delay am for over two hours and everything wey dey happun.”
Wunmi tok say na she siddon for di middle of Mohbad and Prime Boy wen di argument bin dey go on wey make Mohbad come down from di car to go fight Prime Boy for di oda side of di car.
“I dey dia middle and my husband bin come down becos say im dey vex say Prime Boy dey call am ‘Promise’ wey im no like make dem dey call am for outside.”
“As im turn go di oda side of di car to go meet Prime Boy, na im I quickly go call di oda pipo for our second Prado jeep say make dem come settle di argument but I no too know wetin come happun wen di fight dey go on becos I no dey dia,” Wunmi tok for court.
As Wunmi continue to dey give details of tins wey happun before her husband bin die, she confam say e reach 48 hours before nurse come treat Mohbad for dia house.
“Im (Mohbad) no go hospital sake of reasons wey I go still later tok. Dat Monday (11 September), e notice say I no really follow am tok sake of di way wey im take behave on Sunday wen di fight bin happun. E beg me say make I no vex before im come show me di hand wey dey pain am”
“I ask am say make we go hospital but im no gree. I come apply rub for di side of di wound but no be very deep one. Na by imsef e tok say nurse go come. As nurse come, she check di hand before she come give am (Mohbad) tetanus injection.”
Di wife of di deceased explain say na one of Mohbad friend Spending wey dey live wit dem na im call di nurse to come sake of say Mohbad nurse no dey around.
She add say wen di nurse dey treat her husband, she bin also dey check food wey she don put for fire already but as she come back, she hear Mohbad dey tell di nurse make she comot di injection wey she dey administer sake of say e dey make am feel uncomfortable.
Wunmi tok say before di nurse bin give Mohbad any injection, she and Ajisegiri Sultan Ayobami ‘DJ Bami’ tell di nurse say Mohbad get ulcer so she go know di kain injection wey she go administer.
“Wen Mohbad dey feel uncomfortable, DJ Bami and di nurse bin comot to go get something. As im dey feel uncomfortable, I enter di room come see am for ground and na dia I know say something serious dey happun.”
“I run out to go find help becos mechanic still dey repair Mohbad car. I dey shout for help, until I go knock di gate of our neighbour wey come help us carry di body. As we dey go na im we jam traffic (hold up).”
As Wunmi dey continue dey give her testimony, she reveal say di driver touch hand of Mohbad for back and see say di hand dey cold. Na why she comot for di car find motorcycle (okada) wey go carry her husband reach hospital.
“Di driver say im hand dey cold, we quickly come down to find bike wey go carry am reach hospital becos di traffic dat day no too move. Di photographer dey wit us and dem carry Mohbad ontop bike reach di hospital while me I carry anoda bike follow dem for back.”
“I dey outside becos dem no allow me inside di ward wey dem carry di body enta and few minutes after, dem tell me say e don die. I no believe say e die and I quickly call im cousin Darosha (brother to Mohbad mother) to come becos I still no believe wetin di doctor tok. Darosha come carry am go anoda hospital,” Wunmi tok as tears begin dey flow for her eyes.
She add say na di second hospital come tok am again say dem bring am in dead

For her testimony, Wunmi tok how di journey of Mohbad wit Marlian music bin begin and wetin occur wit di boss Naira Marley.
Wunmi wey tok say na for over ten years she don sabi her husband, reveal say Mohbad don begin dey try do well for imsef before im even sign for record label.
“Wen I meet am, im be rapper and me I be rapper too from secondary school. Im join one popular challenge for social media wey BaddyOsha bin organise and e win.”
“One day im tell me say Naira Marley message am for Instagram say make dem link up. I advice am say make e just feature Naira Marley for one song, make e never sign any deal but Mohbad say di signing go help im career.”
Wunmi reveal say she no know Naira Marley from anywhere until Mohbad begin dey tok about am and e dey trend dat time but tins begin dey fall apart wen dem no gree make im change im manager.
“Mohbad bin wan change im manager becos Tunde (Naira Marley cousin) wey dey manage am no dey do anytin. But di record label boss tok say na dem go choose who go be manager for am.”
“Im begin dey see different threats. Im oppressor dey bully am and im no dey stable again for 2022 wey im comot di label. Na zero account im comot di label wit, e no get anything to start and im begin dey struggle to survive.
‘Aside Olamide and Bella Shmurda, some artistes avoid Mohbad’
For her testimony, Wunmi tell di court say her husband ‘oppressor’ dey use different means to dey threanten am.
Wen she dey narrate how her husband dey survive wen im comot Marlian music, Wunmi say na very difficult time as pipo no wan follow her husband relate again.
She reveal say Mohbad bin try reach out to some oda artistes but dem no reply.
“E reach out to some artistes but dem no wan relate wit am, aside Olamide and Bella Shmurda. Im oppressor fit pay anyone to harm my husband and e dey live for fear till im death.”
