The Rossoneri faced a daunting challenge as they had yet to score a UCL goal this season, and PSG’s Milan Škriniar opened the scoring with a close-range header just nine minutes into the game, his first goal for the club.

However, Milan quickly responded as Rafael Leão scored a spectacular overhead kick, putting the home side on the scoreboard.

The first half was marked by Milan’s dominance, with both Leão and Olivier Giroud coming close to scoring, while Gianluigi Donnarumma was repeatedly tested. PSG remained dangerous, with Ousmane Dembélé hitting the crossbar from long range.

Stefano Pioli’s motivational tactics seemed to work, as Milan took the lead early in the second half when Giroud netted a powerful header, marking his 24th UCL goal and fifth against PSG.

Despite PSG’s efforts to equalize, substitute Lee Kang-in’s shot was tipped onto the post by Mike Maignan.
