Penalty was awarded for Ghana in the 20th minute, as Nunez was booked for excessive feistiness. Ayew played the penalty towards the bottom right corner but Rochet guessed right and kept it out with a strong left hand.
Giorgian de Arrascaeta scored a brace for Uruguay. He scored in the 26th minute and he also scored in the 32nd minute.
South Korea 2 – 1 Portugal
Hwang Hee-Chan sealed victory as South Korea beat Portugal 2-1 on Friday evening.
Portugal scored the first goal in the 5th minute, as Diogo Dalot brought down a Pepe diagonal and he passed the ball to Horta who fired past the South Korean goalkeeper.
South Korea equalised in the 27th minute, as they played a corner kick and it bounced off Ronaldo’s back after he flinched away from it.
The ball broke loose for Kim Young-gwon who stretched to divert the shot home. Hwang Hee-Chan sealed victory for South Korea as he scored in the injury time.
