I have been wondering how a governor would work effectively without appointees to make the work easy. It is even more worrisome because he did not give any reason for their disengagement. He, however, appreciates all the appointees for their individual and collective contributions towards the development of the State.

I don’t think this is a wise move at this point, especially now that every state is laying good foundations against the forthcoming 2023 general elections that are just around the corner.

If you visit other states, you will observe that most governors are even approving more appointments to aid them to finish well and not sacking.

Even if some may have done something wrong, does it warrant sacking all of them at this point? Will his commissioners and Director Generals’ be able to do all the jobs by themselves? I don’t think so. I don’t think any government can function effectively without Special Advisers, Senior Special Assistants, and Special Assistants.
