The Crystal Palace star has become a club legend following a decade where he has been rarely seen away from the club.

Some important goals and performances helped the Eagles to promotion, and since then he has been a regular provider in the top flight, assuring the club’s status as a Premier League outfit.

Many have wondered why a big move has not come his way recently, after a stint at Manchester United in 2013 saw him fail to make the desired impact.

However, Jones has claimed he would be willing to give a move another opportunity, particularly if Chelsea entered the market for the 29-year-old.

Zaha open to Chelsea move

He said: “Chelsea tried to sign him under the previous ownership and Zaha would welcome a move like this.

“I think it would be exciting to see Sterling and him in the same attack, and I think there are ways Tuchel could get that to open up.”

The forward spent last season playing with Chelsea loanee Conor Gallagher, with the midfielder drawing praise from Zaha in particular, following a successful loan spell at Selhurst Park.

The Blues are reportedly interested in a deal for the Palace man, with the aim to compliment Raheem Sterling in a similar way to how they attempted to with Raphinha.

The Ivory Coast international has shown that his 1v1 dribbling is one of his biggest strengths, with him more comfortable than most in the league when in possession of the ball and drawing fouls at a level to match.

That skill is something noticeably missing in the club’s current set of options, with the likes of Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech looking to play a different way when they feature for the Blues.
