When asked by the reporter whether he can be happy at Chelsea next season, Werner said: “I could be happy everywhere. It is clear I want to play more and I should play more to first be in good shape for the World Cup and also to have a chance to play at the World Cup.

The 26-year-old is looking at featuring in the next world cup for his national team Germany and he needs enough game time next season for him to be called up to the team.

It’s obvious that his reply shows that he would be happy at Chelsea or any other club if gets enough game time, cause last season he only featured in 15 premier league matches.

Timo Werner will have to fight for his place in the Chelsea starting eleven next season with Sterling already the number one player for his favorite left position and Kai Havertz also the first choice for the Center forward position.

Timo Werner would not mind leaving Chelsea this summer as he wants the best for his football career both at the club level and national level.
