After losing 4-1 to Napoli of Italy in their Day 1 Game, Liverpool at Anfield hosted Ajax Amsterdam of Holland to a tough showdown that is truly worth the effort. Egypt’s Mo Salah put Liverpool in the lead, 17 minutes into the game to boost the home side’s confidence.

Ajax levelled in the 27th minute through Kudus’ Strike to send the visiting Team back into the game as the 2 sides settle for a halftime draw. Liverpool’s effort in the 2nd half gave them the all important points, in their 2nd game after Matip scored an 89th minute goal to surprisingly seal Victory for Liverpool in the end.

Elsewhere, Bayern Munich proved yet another superiority over Spanish Club, Barcelona FC after a nice treat at the Allianze Arena. The away Team that had, former Bayern Munich Star, Robert Lewandowski on their side couldn’t score any goal in the first half.

The German side opened scoring 5 minutes in the 2nd half through a strike from Lucas Hernandez. Just 4 minutes after, Leroy Sane turned the scoreline to 2-0 to give Munich a befitting lead as the German side took charge. Barcelona lost to Bayern Munich at the Arena by 2-0 in the regulation time following Lewandowski inability to score a goal.
