Liverpool was the losing finalist in the 2018 Champions League final in Kyiv when Real Madrid won their 13th European trophy.

The two teams will square off once again in the final on May 28 in Paris.

It’s not the first time Liverpool and Real Madrid played each other in Paris as the Reds famously beat Los Blancos in the same city in 1981.

However, Salah wants Jurgen Klopp’s side to exact revenge for 2018 final but Ancelotti pointed out that Real Madrid has their final loss of 1981 to avenge in Paris too.

Speaking on the development, the former Chelsea and Everton coach was quoted by Fairplay News as saying: “It could be a motivation.

“But Madrid lost a final in Paris with Liverpool. It could be revenge for us too.”
