One player that could play in Chelsea’s midfield in the 2022-2023 season is De Jong. The Dutch have also been linked to Stamford Bridge.
Two things the 25-year-old can bring to Chelsea are:

De Jong is a player who likes to have the ball a lot and play it into possession. He can play in different positions in the midfield. He can function as a holding, central, box-to-box, or defensive midfielder.
2. HIS VISION AND ABILITY TO MOVE WITH THE BALL
The Dutch player is gifted with the ability to make runs and dribble in tight spaces. He also has a vision for long and short passes.
