It should be recalled that the Leaders of the All Progressives Congress APC and the State Governors, in some states have not been settled with one another.
The recent APC Congress, conducted across the states have caused a lot of Problems, in the Party. However, some of the States where PDP stands better chance of winning 2023 Polls due to the crisis in the Party, shall be discussed.
One of the States where PDP, stands better chance of winning 2023 Polls, is Gombe State. The Governor of the State, Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya and Senator Danjuma Goje, who was the former Governor of the state, are fighting each other, in the State.
It was reliably gathered that 80 Percent of ward executives of the All Progressives Congress APC, Yamatu/Debba Local Government Area of the state, have resigned their Positions, over the feud between the Senator Danjuma Goje and Governor Inuwa Yahaya.
The resigning executives, which constitute about 80 Percent of the entire ward executives announced decision, after a stakeholders meeting.
In a Statement released after the meeting, immediate Past chairman of APC in Yamaltu/Debba Local Government Area, Alhaji Sulaiman Ibrahim, said they resigned in Protest to the disrespect and “attack” of Senator Danjuma Goje’s convoy three weeks ago.
However, the feud between Senator Danjuma Goje and the Governor of the State, Governor Inuwa Yahaya, may give PDP edge to win the forthcoming Polls, in the state.
The resigning executives in the State, may not work for the success of APC in future elections, which might be dangerous for the Party. The Peoples Democratic Party PDP, will seize the opportunity of the crisis in APC, to win future elections.
Another Northern APC State, where PDP stands better chance of winning 2023 Polls, is Zamfara State. The Peoples Democratic Party PDP, will seize the opportunity of the crisis in the Party, to win the forthcoming Governorship Polls.
It was gathered that Senator Kabiru Marafa, was not satisfied with the outcome of the just concluded State Congress. Senator Kabiru Marafa’s faction, said the National executives of the Party, didn’t follow due Process, in the conduct of the State Congress.
It was also gathered that Senator Marafa and the former Governor of the State, Abdul’aziz Yari, don’t recognize Governor Bello Matawalle, as the overall Leader of the Party.

It should be recalled that the last Governorship election that Produced Governor Matawalle, as Governor of the State, was somehow controversial, because he won the Governorship election, under the Platform of PDP, before he recently dumped the Party for APC.
If the APC Leaders fails to settle the crisis within the Party on time, PDP may win the forthcoming Polls in the State.
