The Reds played exceptionally well throughout the game, and they outscored the Citizens by a margin of three goals to seal their victory over the team that is currently holding the title of English champion.

Right fullback Engli A spectacular goal scored by Trent Alexander-Arnold gave Jurgen Klopp’s team the lead barely 20 minutes into the encounter. Before the 7th minute, the Red were in the lead, but then the Citizens’ Argentine striker Julian Alvarez scored to tie the game for the Citizens.

13 minutes later, Liverpool regained the lead thanks to a penalty kick by Mohamed Salah. The goal was scored after Portuguese defender Ruben Dias used his hand to block Nunez’s header. Nunez’s attempt to score was prevented by Dias.

Darwin Nunez, who joined Liverpool as a free agent over the summer, scored an injury-time header that ensured the Reds would take home the trophy for the new Community Shield.

The majority of Liverpool players that participated in today’s game were great, and as a result, the squad was able to secure a victory. The team maintained its strength throughout the entirety of the encounter, and Manchester City had a difficult time finding the back of the net.

Both Darwin Nunez and Mohamed Salah performed exceptionally well at King Power, and their efforts were a significant contributor to the team’s victory, which resulted in the awarding of the trophy. From the beginning of the encounter until its conclusion, Salah caused problems for the defenders for Manchester City.

Nunez, on the other hand, entered the game in the 59th minute and had a significant impact on both of Liverpool’s goals scored in the second half. The striker demonstrated why he was signed by the team coached by Jurgen Klopp by making a difference in the second half.

Both Sala and Nunez have demonstrated that they are prepared for the new Premier League season, and the Reds will be able to rely heavily on them to dominate matches in the upcoming campaign.
