Borussia Dortmund has taken action to bolster its full-back options with the addition of versatile Norwegian international Julian Ryerson from Union Berlin.

Ryerson, who has played 21 times for Union this season in three different competitions, joins Dortmund on a three-and-a-half-year contract that runs through the summer of 2026.

The 25-year-old offer some crucial backup in several places, and the international from Norway is skilled at playing on both wings.

Mouctar Diakhaby’s contract has been extended by Valencia till 2027.

Since the conclusion of 2022, the Los Che hierarchy and the internationals from Guinea have been in discussions about securing his long-term future.

In his four and a half seasons at the Estadio Mestalla, Diakhaby has consistently contributed, and Gennaro Gattuso is keen to keep the 26-year-old.
