Wolves’ pursuit of a striker during the January transfer window is ongoing with Che Adams rising to the top of the list alongside the likes of West Ham’s Danny Ings.

The midlands club are one of three Premier League sides interested in bringing in Adams whi is in the final six months of his contract with Southampton.

The Saints are weighing up whether to cash in now or utilise Adams’ skillset for the promotion push and potentially see him leave for free this summer.

Wolves’ big priority is to recruit a striker in this window having allowed Sasa Kaladjic and Fabio Silva to leave on loan. PSG’s Hugo Ekitike is another striker on their list should a move for Adams or Ings not materialise.

Victor Osimhen furious about Saudi Arabia links

The Napoli striker has issued an angry response to suggestions he will leave the beleaguered Italian champions for Saudi Arabia.

Appearing on Georgian TV yesterday, Mamuka Jugeli, the agent of Osimhen’s teammate Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, said that although Osimhen has signed a new contract with Napoli, the Nigeria international will move to Saudi Arabia at the end of the season.

Currently on international duty at the Africa Cup of Nations, has taken to social media to issue a rather robust response to Jugeli’s claims. “Dear Mamuka Jugeli, you are a piece of filth and a disgrace. I’m embarrassed at your sense of reasoning,” he said on Instagram. “Keep my name out of your mouth!!!”

Dragusin to join Spurs as Genoa to loan Spence

Tottenham Hotspur have reached an agreement with Genoa to sign centre-back Radu Dragusin.

Despite competition from Bayern Munich, Spurs had an offer for the Romania international, 21, accepted by their Italian counterparts overnight.

Dragusin is expected to travel on Wednesday morning ahead of completing the proposed move, in a deal that will see full-back Djed Spence go the other way on loan until the summer.

Martial rejects approaches to leave Man Utd

Manchester United forward Anthony Martial has rejected approaches from Marseille, Fenerbahce and Saudi Pro League sides and intends to remain at the club until the summer.

Martial, 28, is out of contract at the end of June, meaning that from January 1 he has been able to speak to foreign clubs about a pre-contract agreement. United say they have not been approached by any clubs regarding a move for Martial.
