According to ESPN, Manchester United have ruled out any move for Tottenham midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg before the window closes.

The Red Devils are reportedly in the market for another midfielder and have been linked with several stars including Sofyan Amrabat and Hojbjerg. But while Spurs are prepared to let the Danish international leave, interest in him has been sparse.

ESPN has revealed that United’s focus right now is split between signing a new left-back and their efforts to offload fringe stars like Donny van de Beek, Scott McTominay and Eric Bailly amongst others.

However, reports have also indicated that Amrabat remains on the club’s list and a move could yet take place for the Moroccan international.
