Man City close on Mateo Kovacic
Manchester City are set to make Mateo Kovacic their first signing of the summer. Chelsea gave Kovacic permission to speak to City last week. TalkSPORT now claims the Croatia star has agreed personal terms with the Premier League champions.
A fee is yet to be agreed between the two Premier League giants but Chelsea want at least £30m. Kovacic could be a direct replacement for FA Cup final hero Ilkay Gundogan, who looks set to leave.
Chelsea reach agreement for Manuel Ugarte
Chelsea have reportedly sealed the deal for Sporting CP’s Manuel Ugarte. The Uruguayan will join Chelsea after the Blues paid the release clause of 60 million euros.
