Arsenal will consider bids in excess of £30million for Thomas Partey, according to The Sun. The Ghana international, 30, is another player who could leave the Emirates this summer due to the arrival of Rice, with clubs in Saudi Arabia after his signature.
Arsenal signed Partey from Atletico Madrid in a £45m deal three years ago, with the midfielder playing 99 games for the club to date. He struggled towards the back end of last season, as Arsenal’s Premier League title challenge collapsed. Juventus are also thought to be interested in signing Partey, who has two years remaining on his existing deal.
Chelsea set to submit £85m bid for Caicedo
Chelsea are set to firm up their interest in Moises Caicedo by making a massive £85million offer for the Brighton star with the hope negotiations can be concluded quickly.
The Blues have raised over £200m from their summer sales and have a gap to fill in midfield with Mason Mount, Mateo Kovacic, N’Golo Kante and Ruben Loftus-Cheek all leaving. And it seems Mauricio Pochettino is ready to land his biggest signing yet with a move for Caicedo, 22.
According to Ecuadorian journalist Diego Arcos, Chelsea’s opening bid is imminent, with the west London outfit ready to pay £75m up front with up to £10m in potential add-ons. Brighton want £100m for the midfielder, but they have guaranteed Caicedo he can leave this summer.
