Bitter rivals Tottenham and Arsenal are ready to go head-to-head again – by battling it out for want-away Brighton winger Leandro Trossard.

Spurs, humbled by their neighbours in Sunday’s north London derby, have already contacted Brighton to register their interested in Trossard.

Brighton are now preparing themselves for a formal offer for the Belgium World Cup star, who has had a public fallout with manager Roberto De Zerbi.

But Spurs are likely to face competition from Arsenal, who have earmarked Trossard as a possible alternative to Mykhaylo Mudryk following the Ukrainian’s move to Chelsea.

Man Utd eyeing Ajax defender

Manchester United are interested in signing 21-year-old Dutch defender Jurrien Timber from Ajax according to Caughtoffside.

Erik ten Hag had previously worked with the youngster during his time as Ajax manager and he has reportedly instructed his scouts to monitor the player’s progress in the next few months.

West Ham in pole position to sign Moffi

West Ham are in pole position to sign Lorient striker Terem Moffi, sources have told Football Insider.

But the French club are holding out for their £30million asking price to be met for a deal to be sealed by the January cut-off.

West Ham are in talks to sign Moffi, 23, this month as they look to bolster their misfiring attack.
