Transfer News: Arsenal In Pole Position To Sign Caicedo, De Gea to Be Offered Contract Sweetener

After it was reported the Brighton were open to selling star midfielder Moises Caicedo this summer, Football Insider now claim that Arsenal are leading the race to sign the Ecuadorian youngster.

The player is valued at £70-80 million and the Gunners are set to return for this player this summer after Brighton rejected several bids in January.

De Gea to be offered contract sweetener

According to The Sun, David de Gea will be offered a testimonial at Manchester United as part of talks regarding a new contract.

The Spanish goalkeeper will see his current deal expire this summer and will be required to take a pay cut in order to land an extension – with the Red Devils topping that deal up with a special game to recognise his contribution to the club.

Roma will try and strike a deal to sign Youri Tielemans on a free transfer once his Leicester contract expires this summer.
