The former Real Madrid striker only left Juventus Stadium last summer to return to Old Trafford, although he had a successful season personally after Ronaldo scored 24 goals last season.

Manchester United finished sixth in the Premier League after the Red Devils had the worst season in club history.

Ronaldo, meanwhile, is worried about a move to Manchester United that could see him leave the club if he does not make signings to improve his squad.

According to Sport, Ronaldo’s agent Mendes has made an offer to Juventus for the 37-year-old and his return to Turin.

The same paper claims that Juventus have not ruled out the possibility of the star’s return altogether, although there are doubts over the completion of the deal.

Reports have suggested that Ronaldo is ready to lower his salary to join Juventus, becoming the second Manchester United player to join Juventus this summer after Paul Pogba is set to join Juventus.
