According to the German news outlet Abendzeitung, Joao Cancelo has ruled out a move to another Premier League club with the Portuguese defender set to return to Manchester after his loan spell with Bayern Munich.

The Manchester City outcast is tipped to make a switch once again after his return but a transfer to Arsenal is looking bleak. Barcelona are another club interested in Cancelo and could look to sign him in the upcoming transfer window.

Man Utd to drop interest in Kane

Manchester United are set to give up on trying to land Harry Kane and will move for Atalanta’s Rasmus Hojlund instead, according to Football Insider.

The Red Devils want to wrap up a new striker signing quickly but fear it will be difficult to convince Spurs to part ways with Kane. Hojlund is seen as a more easily obtainable transfer target who is expected to cost around £52 million.

A report on Italian news outlet Calciomercato has suggested that Manchester City have entered the race to sign Leeds United winger Wilfried Gnonto.

The Italian youngster has been one of the finds of the Premier League campaign and the Sky Blues want to lure him to Manchester with Leeds being relegated to the Championship. Man City could receive massive competition from Arsenal and multiple Italian clubs who are also looking to get the youngster onboard.
