The 27-year-old might be currently serving a ban but he is expected to be on the move in the upcoming winter transfer window. Arsenal and Chelsea are two clubs keen on having him in their ranks. Both clubs have been linked with the 27-year-old for a while now. But, Jones believes Arsenal might be the preferred destination of the England international.
Vlahovic set to snub EPL clubs
Dusan Vlahovic is reportedly ready to snub interest from several Premier League clubs in favour of remaining with Juventus. Manchester United and Arsenal are among the clubs said to have registered an interest the Serbia international in January, with Chelsea previously keen to acquire his services.
However, Teamtalk report that Vlahovic is keen to extend his contract beyond 2026 and retains the faith of Juventus. The striker is starting to find his feet at the Allianz Stadium and prove his worth, scoring four and assisting one in 10 Seria A appearances so far this season.
Manchester City ‘keen to re-sign Douglas Luiz from Aston Villa’
Manchester City are reportedly keen to bring Douglas Luiz back to the club from Aston Villa. Arsenal have been heavily linked with Luiz over the last few transfer windows, and it is believed that the Gunners still have an interest in the South American, who has a contract at Villa Park until June 2026.
However, according to Football Insider , Man City are keen to bring the Brazilian back to the Etihad Stadium during the January transfer window. The report claims that the Citizens want to sign a midfielder in the winter market and are keen to secure his services at the start of 2024 amid claims of a buy-back clause in the deal that took him to Villa.
Fenerbahce ‘planning to make Anthony Martial offer next week’
Fenerbahce officials will reportedly meet with Manchester United chiefs next week to discuss a move for Anthony Martial during the January transfer window.
According to Fotomac, Fenerbahce want to sign a new striker during the January transfer window and have identified Martial as their leading target in that area of the field.
