According to Florian Plettenberg, Osimhen is at the top of Chelsea’s list of potential new strikers and the free-spenders are still pushing to sign him despite his huge price tag, with Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis wants at least €150m for his prized asset.

It is believed Chelsea must offload players before they can sign Osimhen while the fact the Blues have missed out on the Champions League football next season could hamper their chances of landing his signature.

EPL announces transfer window dates

The Premier League has announced the dates for the summer and winter transfer windows next season. The summer window will open on Wednesday 14 June and will close at 23:00 BST on Friday 1 September.

The winter window will open on Monday 1 January 2024 and will close at 23:00 GMT on Thursday 1 February 2024.

Hummels signs new Dortmund contract

Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels has signed a new one-year contract at the club. The German defender’s deal was due to expire this summer but Hummels will stay for another year at Signal Iduna Park.

Dortmund can seal the Bundesliga title if they match Bayern Munich’s result on Saturday – and you can watch their game- againz Mainz live on Sky Sports with kick-off at 2.30pm.

Atletico Madrid to challenge Chelsea for Vlahovic

According to Fichajes, Chelsea will have to compete with Atletico Madrid to sign Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic in the summer. As per the report, Juventus will ask a fee of €80m for the Serbian striker, with Atletico Madrid hoping to pay the amount after the sales of forwards Alvaro Morata and Joao Felix
