Chelsea have told Inter Milan they want around £38million for Romalu Lukaku.
Lukaku has made it clear he has no intention of returning to Chelsea and the Blues are keen to offload the 30-year-old striker as they continue their clear-out of unwanted players.
Inter have been in talks to sign Lukaku on a permanent basis but an initial proposal by the Italian giants of around £26m is thought to have been immediately rejected by Chelsea.
Rayan Cherki wants to join Chelsea
Much has been made about Lyon attacker Rayan Cherki this summer.
The 19-year-old has impressed in Ligue 1 and, as a result, is reportedly a target for many of Europe’s leading clubs.

Inter Milan ‘step up Hugo Lloris pursuit amid Andre Onana exit rumours’
Inter Milan have reportedly intensified their efforts to bring Tottenham Hotspur number one Hugo Lloris to the club as Manchester United continue to work on a deal for Andre Onana.
The Red Devils are now said to be “really close” to securing the signing of Onana, who has already agreed personal terms with Erik ten Hag’s side as Inter brace themselves for another bid.
Onana arrived at San Siro last year with a view to succeeding Samir Handanovic long-term, as the Slovenia international will turn 39 in six days’ time and became a free agent at the end of June.
