Wycombe have signed goalkeeper Harvey Cartwright on loan from Hull City for the rest of the season. The 20-year-old has made three appearances for the Tigers and is an England Under-20 international.
He had a loan spell at Peterborough earlier in the season but injuries restricted him to one appearance. Cartwright will provide additional cover for Wycombe first-choice Max Stryjek as they look to force their way into the top six in League One.
PSG preparing third bid for Cherki
According to French outlet FootMercato, PSG are preparing a third bid for Lyon attacker Rayan Cherki. PSG are conscious that Lyon could definitively shut the door on a potential deal so they are treading carefully with the deal.
He has a goal and an assist to his name in Ligue 1 this season and would provide cover to their attacking department after the sale of Pablo Sarabia earlier this month.
Gusto set for Chelsea medical
Chelsea are set to complete the signing of Lyon full-back Malo Gusto. The two clubs have agreed a fee of around £26m but the 19-year-old will remain with the Ligue 1 side on loan for the rest of the season.
Gusto had been identified as the Blues’ leading choice to provide cover and competition for Reece James, who has seen his season decimated by injury so far.
