According to reports in Skysports, Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo has told his team-mates he intends to stay at Manchester United but only if incoming boss Erik ten Hag wants him.

Ronaldo has one year remaining on his current deal having re-joined the club last summer from Italian Serie A side Juventus and scored 18 Premier League goals this season, only behind Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah and Tottenham’s Heung-Min Son.
