Real Madrid unwilling to pay more than £17.5m for Kepa
Real Madrid have reportedly decided that they will not pay more than £17.5m to sign Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga. According to The Sun , Real have already decided that they will pay no more than £17.5m to complete the permanent signing of Arrizabalaga.
While the player’s potential deputy status in the long term is being taken into consideration, Arrizabalaga’s contract at Chelsea also expires in 2025.
Aston Villa to open Douglas Luiz contract talks amid Arsenal links
Aston Villa are reportedly eager to extend the contract of midfielder Douglas Luiz. According to Football Insider , club officials have plans to open negotiations over fresh terms at the turn of the year.
That will be of reassurance to Unai Emery who views Luiz as a certain starter in his midfield when fit, the player one of eight players to start every Premier League contest this season. However, Arsenal are known to be long-term admirers of Luiz having previously failed to tempt him into a transfer to the Emirates Stadium.
Vinicius Jr signs new Real Madrid contract until 2027
Vinicius Jr has signed a new four-year deal with Real Madrid, according to Sky Sports News. The contract extension will keep the Brazil international at the Santiago Bernabeu until June 2027.
Vinicius joined Los Blancos aged 18 in 2018 and has gone on to make 235 appearances, scoring 63 goals and winning nine major trophies, including two LaLiga titles.
