Chelsea’s Women’s team has announced the signing of Alejandra Bernabe. She arrives at the club from Atletico Madrid and has signed a three-year contract, although she will be immediately loaned to Real Sociedad.
Man Utd ‘in talks’ with Onana
Andre Onana’s representatives met Manchester United for talks today, according to Fabrizio Romano. United are keen to sign a goalkeeper this summer, with the future of first-choice No1 David de Gea still unresolved.
Onana is one of the players they are considering and talks took place today with the Inter Milan keeper’s agents. Inter would only sell for £43million (€50m) with add ons.
Benitez returns to management
Former Liverpool and Chelsea boss Rafa Benitez is closing in on a return to the touchline with a move to Spanish side Celta Vigo. The Spaniard has been out of work since a disastrous spell with Everton was ended in January 2022.
He has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia since then, whilst he was also mentioned in the conversation for the Leicester City job before they appointed Enzo Maresca.
