Arsenal look to be well in the race for Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and it appears they are making tangible efforts to sign him. As per CalcioNapoli 24, the Gunners have made contact and are concretely trying to tempt him to the Emirates Stadium.
Whether that is over the closing days of the January window or in the summer, remains to be seen. Osimhen himself recently revealed that he had made a decision over his long-term future.
Man United enquire about signing Benzema
Both Chelsea and Manchester United have inquired about the potential signing of Al Ittihad striker Karim Benzema, according to L’Equipe. The 36-year-old is reportedly discontent with his six-month tenure in Saudi Arabia and is exploring his options to return to Europe, adds ESPN.
Despite Benzema’s wish to depart, the Saudi Pro League is inclined to keep him in the country and potentially send him out on loan to another club inn Riyadh.
Saudi sides renew Salah interest
Another update from Anfield here, with Mo Salah once again being eyed by Saudi clubs. The Egyptian forward was of serious interest to sides in the Gulf state this summer but a deal was not done.
Now, according to talkSPORT, the option of a move to Saudi has resurfaced. It is suggested that chiefs are hopeful that they can finally tempt Salah in the aftermath of Jurgen Klopp’s exit announcement.
Cedric set for Arsenal exit
There could be an exit from Arsenal over the coming days with Cedric closing in on a move to Turkey. According to the Evening Standard, the Gunners are in talks with Galatasaray over a deal.
