The North London club completed the signings of Kai Havertz and Declan Rice to improve their midfield options during the summer transfer window last summer and are currently occupying the 4th position on the Premier League table.

However, with the likes of Jurrien Timber, Thomas Partey and Emile Smith-Rowe currently struggling with injuries, Arsenal football club are now on the lookout for more midfield reinforcements.

And if reports are anything to go by, then Arsenal football club have been linked with a transfer move for young Everton defensive midfielder Amadou Onana before the window closes.

The 22-year-old Belgium International, who departed Ligue 1 side Lille to sign up for Everton back in 2022 has proven to be one of the toughest midfielders in the Premier League.

The young defensive was hugely involved for Everton during the 2022/2023 season where he scored one goal and provided two assists in 35 appearances in all competitions.

Amadou Onana has also been quite influential for Everton football club so far this ongoing 2023/2024 season, scoring one two goals and creating one assist in the 25 matches he has played.

His excellent performances in midfield has attracted interests from Arsenal football club and according to reports from Transfer News Live, the Gunners are keen on signing him.

The reports further claimed that Arsenal football club are really interested in Amadou Onana and have already opened talks with Everton over a move for the young defensive midfielder.

It is believed that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta wants to add more rigidity to his midfield options and he has identified the physical Amadou Onana as a needed addition to his squad.
