It was a delightful performance from the Gunners in the encounter as they comfortably defeated Tottenham 2-0 away from home.
Hugo Lloris’s own goal and Martin Odegaard’s stunner were enough to hand Arsenal all three important points against Spurs.
Well, Thomas Partey made the starting lineup for Arsenal in this encounter as he had an outstanding performance against Tottenham. The Ghanaian International was all over the field assisting Arsenal in anyway he could both offensively and defensively.
The 29-year-old did quite well to orchestrate some of Arsenal’s attacks in the game as he had an all-round good performance against Spurs.
Well, I believe his fine display justifies why he is one of the underrated defensive midfielders in the Premier League presently. Thomas Partey puts up a steady run of good performances for the Gunners but barely gets the hype he deserves from the media.
His brilliance in the middle of the park has been one of the reasons for Arsenal’s successful run in the Premier League this season. More respects need to be put on his name.
