But of the thousands doing business in Europe, only a handful have become household names. All week long, people can’t stop talking about these players’ amazing play. In light of this, we ranked the best six young players in the world.

6. Phil Foden

For Manchester City, Foden is about to reach the century mark of Premier League appearances. Foden’s manager Pep Guardiola said of him when he was 17 years old, “I have never seen a guy with this promise” (he only coached Messi from age 21).

4. Aurelien Tchouameni

Tchouameni, a former star player for Monaco who is now in another club, moved up the ranking to number four thanks to the outstanding performance he had with Monaco in the Ligue 1 competition the year before.

3. Antony

Antony the new acquisition of Manchester United is one of the best young players in the world. This ranking comes as a result of his play for Ajax across all competitions last season. During the previous campaign, Antony led Ajax to the round of 16 in the Champions League and also brought home the Eredivisie championship.

2. Vinicius Junior

After assisting Real Madrid in their victory over Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League game in 2021/22, the Brazilian forward Vinicius Junior moved up the rankings to the fourth spot on the list.

Erling Haaland, who just signed for Manchester City, is the first on the list after his arrival. He has scored 10 goals in 6 matches and two hat tricks.
