Hat tricks were scored by players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Mohamed Salah, Kevin de Bruyne, Son Heung-min, and Bruno Fernandes last season in the English Premier League. Only the most gifted attacking midfielders or second strikers in the Premier League have a chance to score three goals in a game. Only these three midfielders have scored four goals for their club in a Premier League game.

1. Frank Lampard

The Englishman proved in March of 2008 why he is considered to be one of the top midfielders in the Premier League by scoring four goals while playing against Derby County.

In addition to setting a new record for most goals scored in a game by a midfielder, Lampard became the first player in Premier League history to score four goals in a single game. Fans of Chelsea and the Premier League will always remember his contributions with gratitude for the fun he brought them.

2. Kevin De Bruyne

As Manchester City was vying with Liverpool for the Premier League title last season, the playmaker’s four goals scored against Wolves proved to be a huge boost.

The creative player has been hailed as one of Europe’s best, and he is set to go down in football history as a legend.

3. Georginio Wijnaldum

The four goals scored by Georginio Wijnaldum helped Newcastle United to a 6-2 victory over Norwich City. The club’s first Premier League victory of the season. With his four goals, he joined Alan Shearer as the only Newcastle player to ever accomplish such a feat in a Premier League game.

His first goal came just 14 minutes into the game after he had positioned himself perfectly to prod home a wonderful pass from Moussa Sissoko, who also had a fantastic day in the attacking third with multiple assists and key passes.
