Todd Boehly led consortium has made it known that Thomas Tuchel will be backed to build a team that suits his style of play. While many fans expected the Blues to spend heavily in the transfer window, those at the helm if affairs at the club has been very patient in conducting business. Chelsea has been linked with several top players with nothing concrete emanating from it.

The Blues would need to act fast because their main competitors have added new players to their teams. The following are the players that could be sold to increase the amount of fund available to get new players ahead of 2022/2023.

1. Hudson Odoi: The performance of the academy graduate has been inconsistent for many years to warrant being paid the huge amount he is earning at Chelsea. The fear of losing a young talent to the opponent made the Blues to offer the winger a juicy offer which he has done little or nothing to show that he deserve it. Chelsea should be able to get a decent amount of money if he is allowed to join another team.

2.Kepa Arrizabalaga: Chelsea spent huge amount of money to bring the Spaniard as the replacement to Thibaut Courtois. His poor performance as the first goalkeeper of Chelsea made the Blues to sign Edouard Mendy from Ligue 1. Mendy has been a great addition to the team, Kepa should be allowed to join another team to recoup some money spent in bringing him to the Stamford Bridge.

3. Hakim Ziyech: The Moroccan star was a key player for Ajax before he made the move to Stamford Bridge. His performance during the two seasons at Chelsea has shown that he lacks the ability to cope with the physicality of the English Premier League. He may be moved to another team to to generate fund to get new players.
