Chelsea congratulated Tuchel for his efforts in a brief statement that was released on the club’s official website, but added that it was looking to change direction.
Thomas will legitimately have a place in Chelsea’s history after aiding Chelsea in winning the Champions League, Super Cup, and Club World Cup during his time there.
In the midst of the Club’s hasty search for a new head coach, Chelsea’s coaching staff will be in charge of squad management during practices and in the lead-up to upcoming games.
“Until the appointment of a new head coach,” the statement reads. “I am upset with myself, I am mad about the performance,” Tuchel said following his final game in charge.
‘It’s not clinical enough, it’s not aggressive enough, It lacks sufficient tenacity. We lose today’s game because neither one of us individually nor collectively does enough.
