An early goal from the home side shattered the Blue’s plan, and Thomas Tuchel could do nothing but watch as his men fumble.
Despite narrowly beating West Ham United last week in the Premier League, the blues have not been in their best shape since the start of this season, and fans are beginning to worry about the manager’s tactical approach.
Some Chelsea fans began to raise the Tuchel out chant which was heard against Zagreb. Although beating Fulham will be a very tough challenge for the Blues considering their poor run of form and Fulham’s impressive performances this season.
However, we will be expecting a new manager to hand Aubameyang his first full Chelsea debut following Tuchel’s sack. Although he should have grabbed his first Chelsea goal last night, the Video Assistant Referee ruled his effort offside.
Ahead of the Fulham game, the new Chelsea manager should consider switching to a 4-3-3 lineup which could give the team the chance to be more attacking-minded.
