Tuchel is now looking to strengthen his squad ahead of the new season and he could turn to one of his former player.
According to Bild, Tuchel is interested in a move for Cesar Azpilicueta.
Azpilicueta featured prominently for Chelsea under Tuchel as he made 80 appearances.
The 33-year-old has a year remaining on his contract at Stamford Bridge and there have been suggestions that he could leave Chelsea this summer.
According to Bild, Bayern could look to sign a right-back as Benjamin Pavard may depart in this transfer window.
