Chelsea spent over €600 million on signing players in 2022/2023 season. However, the new signings dropped considerably in performance after joining the Blues.

Chelsea spent €121 million on signing Enzo Fernandez from Benfica in January Transfer Window. He has established himself as a first team starter at the club. However, Enzo has dropped in form and he’s expected to put on an impressive performance for the Blues next season.

The Blues spent €113 million on signing Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan in 2021/2022 season. He struggled to perform well during his time under Thomas Tuchel and rejoined Inter on loan from Chelsea.

Wesley Fofana joined Chelsea for a fee of €80.4 million. He’s still struggling to establish himself as one of the best defenders in the premier league since joning the Blues.
