Addressing via the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) today the 9th day of April 2024, the Kenyan Government has banned all drivers from overtaking school buses which will have extended its stop signs.

The Kenyan Government has intimated that the ban which takes effect immediately has been orchestrated with the solemn aim of curtailing road traffic accidents as well as enhancing the safety of learners when navigating from one point to the other on the road.

The Kenyan Government has intimated that all learning institutions strategically placed within the expansive Kenyan borders will be required to fit their respective school buses with stop sign arms.
