Former Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham has repeatedly proven to Chelsea how wrong they were to have sold him off to Roma in the 2021 transfer window, and seems likely to continue to prove them wrong....CONTINUE READING

It was clear to all to see that Tammy Abraham was Chelsea’s best striker in the last 5 seasons, especially considering that none of the strikers that have played in the last 5 seasons has outperformed him in the aspect of scoring goals at Chelsea.

Especially when you take into consideration that Lukaku, who came close to scoring only 8 goals in the EPL for Chelsea last season, scored 13 less than the 21 goals Tammy Abraham scored for Chelsea in 2020 and 2021.

Yet Chelsea decided that the England forward wasn’t good enough for them, and even before he was sold out, he was relegated to the bench when the likes of Timo Werner and Havertz arrived.

Tammy was eventually sold out and replaced by Romelu Lukaku. Again, we know how that story pawned out.

In contrast, Abraham has repeatedly proven Chelsea wrong with his stats on the field of play. During the 2021–22 season, he scored a total of 17 goals in Serie A for Roma, as well as made some crucial assists and helped Roma qualify for the Europa League.

He was also on fire as he scored nine in the conference league and helped Roma to win their first European trophy in 60 years. He would also win the best player award in the conference league.

While the main strikers (Aubameyang and Broja) at Chelsea have continued to experience a goal drought this season and have yet to score a goal in the 2021-22 season, Tammy Abraham keeps proving Chelsea wrong, having scored two goals in Serie A in six appearances for Roma this season.

To be fair to the strikers at Chelsea, it is still too early to write them off. But it’s clear to all that Tammy Abraham’s goal-scoring ability is top notch as he is a proven striker.

It’s more of a certainty that he will outscore the current strikers at Chelsea considering he is two goals ahead, and when that happens again, just know he has proven Chelsea wrong repeatedly that selling him was a wrong choice.
