Tottenham welcomed Leicester City to the Tottenham Hotspur stadium for the last match on Saturday. There was plenty of action in the opening 45 minutes, starting with a Leicester penalty just four minutes into the game.
Hugo Lloris thought he had saved the penalty only for the referee to order a retake, this time Youri Tielemans made no mistake and gave Leicester an early lead.
The lead lasted for only two minutes as Harry Kane levelled the game with a header at the back post. Eric Dier then put spurs ahead in the 13th minute with a glancing header from an Ivan Perisic corner.
James Maddison lobbed effort on the brink of half time ensured the Foxes entered the break level.
A minute into the second half Rodrigo Bentancur scored his first goal for Spurs to put them in the lead.
An already miserable afternoon for Leicester was capped off with the arrival of Son, who has yet to score this season. He scored three goals in 15 minutes to earn himself the man of the match.
