According to a Daily Post report, Leicester City midfielder – Ndidi got an injury during their practice on Wednesday, and he is now virtually out of the friendly match against the Algerian team.

He has flown back to England from the Nigerian team Hotel in Constantine to receive additional medical attention for the injury.

The alternatives available to head Coach – Jose Peseiro in the midfield department have been restricted due to his ailment. Only three midfielders remain on the roster – Raphael Onyedika, a fresh invitee, Alex Iwobi, and Frank Onyeka.

After several of the invited players sustained injuries, Peseiro was forced to rearrange his team. Before playing the Riyad Mahrez-led side next week Tuesday in Oran, Algeria, the Super Eagles will first play the Algerian B squad on Friday in Constantine.
