Chelsea was almost close to signing French winger Ousmane Dembele from Barcelona, his contract was almost over but at a point, he decided to reject Chelsea and sign a new contract with Barcelona.
2. Gabriel Jesus
Manchester City and Brazilian striker Gabriel Jesus was also Chelsea’s target this summer but he rejected the chance of joining the blues and chose Arsenal over Chelsea.
3. Raphinha
Another Brazilian striker that rejected his move to Chelsea was Leeds United star Raphinha. Chelsea was leading in the race to sign Raphinha from Leeds United but he chose Barcelona even when they didn’t have enough funds to compete with Chelsea in the bid.
4. Robert Lewandowski
Bayern Munich star man Robert Lewandowski was also a Chelsea target this summer but things didn’t turn out well for the blues. The 33-year-old striker snubbed Chelsea’s move as he claim he was interested in Barcelona even when Barcelona didn’t have enough funds.
5. Jules Kounde
Jules Kounde rejected Chelsea moves for Barcelona. After Antonio Rudiger departed from the Blues to Real Madrid Thomas Tuchel considered many replacements for him as Jules Kounde was one of their targets. Jules Kounde decided to join Raphinha, and Robert Lewandowski rejected Chelsea for Barcelona.
6. Romelu Lukaku
Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku rejected the Blues and brought his Lawyer to help forge his way back to Inter Milan. Despite Chelsea decision to keep him he didn’t accept. Before the end of the season, Romelu Lukaku who was interviewed by the press said his move to Chelsea shouldn’t have happened.
