If the Blues can finalize an agreement to get Kalidou Koulibaly, Alessandro Del Piero believes he will succeed at Stamford Bridge as Thiago Silva did.
Raheem Sterling’s acquisition by the west London club marked the beginning of the new Todd Boehly era and served as the opening act for their men’s summer transfer window. Following that, Kalidou Koulibaly is anticipated; a £34 million agreement has just been reached, and a statement is soon to come.
Napoli has found a successor for the 31-year-old, so all that is left to do is make the news before Koulibaly can join Senegal’s international counterpart Edouard Mendy in the club scene.

Silva and Koulibaly’s pairing may help to shore up a Chelsea defense that got too porous toward the conclusion of the previous Premier League season, even though they are not anticipated to participate in every Chelsea game next season.
Del Piero, a legend of Serie A, thinks Koulibaly’s age won’t affect his ability to learn English football. In fact, the former Italian striker discovered arguments to support the Blues’ choice to give Koulibaly a four-year starting contract.
The Italian legend responded, “Oh definitely yes (a fantastic move for Chelsea), it’s a great move.” FC ESPN. “I don’t think Koulibaly’s age is a concern now, in two years, or in three years. I don’t worry about that because he’s a terrific guy, a great professional, and he’s physically amazing; it’s a great move for Blues.”
