Sometimes Coaches make mistakes that cost their team and this was what happened to Real Madrid tonight. The Head Coach went with a bit shaky lineup in such a competitive match.

In the first place, benching Tchouameni and starting Camavinga as a defensive midfielder was an awful mistake from Ancelotti.

Camavinga is a player that makes silly mistakes in games as he is still developing and several positions like the attacking midfield and left-back appear to suit the French youngster, unlike Tchouameni who is a natural defensive midfielder.

Camavinga cost Real Madrid the game by making an awful pass which led to the Barcelona goal and that was the goal that decided the game. ‘

However, Ancelotti has himself to blame for the defeat because he shouldn’t have benched Tchouameni and started Camavinga in such a tight match.

Had it been Tchouameni started the game tonight, Real Madrid might not have lost the game. Meanwhile, the Real Madrid players were weak in front of the goal today. Ancelotti should also look into this and make duly corrections before the second leg at Nou Camp.

Nevertheless, there is still hope for Real Madrid if they can beat Barcelona in Catalonia in the return leg but the game is expected to be more difficult than tonight’s clash.
