The Blue team needs to strengthen its offensive line in order to fight for the Premier League against Manchester City and Liverpool.

The signing of Romleu Lukaku did not give good results this season and several exits are expected in the last stretch of the pitch: Pulisic, Ziyech, Callum Hodson Odoi and Timo Werner, so they need new pieces in that area.

Here are Tuchel 5 requests for Chelsea’s attack;

1. Raheem Sterling:

The Englishman is one of the players that Manchester City wants to sell in the summer due to the arrival of Haaland. His ownership is in doubt, so he also wants a change of scenery to get to the Qatar 2022 World Cup in the best way.

The Frenchman ends his contract with FC Barcelona in the summer and will become a free agent if they do not finish agreeing on his renewal. He is an old acquaintance of Thomas Tuchel, who feels that he can bring back the best version of himself in England.

Bologna could scupper Liverpool’s hope of signing talent

According to the Scotsman, Bologna are set to return to the negotiation table for Aberdeen star Calvin Ramsay, in what would come as a blow to Liverpool and Leeds United.

The Serie A side failed with a £4.8million offer in January but now want to rekindle their interest in the teenager. The Reds have been linked with the 18-year-old defender but so have the Whites, who would be relieved to avoid relegation on gameweek 38.

Staying in the PL would be a big boost to their hopes of signing Ramsay. Stuart Dallas’ versatility sees him play in a number of positions for Leeds while Luke Ayling, at 30, can arguably be upgraded on.

Centre-back Robin Koch has been seen playing down the right flank of their defence in recent games, suggesting the possibility that Ramsay could get more gametime at Elland Road. But the chance to become Trent Alexander-Arnold’s backup at Liverpool isn’t bad either.

The English defender is one of Jurgen Klopp’s untouchable players in the starting XI but our squad was stretched through the course of this campaign. LFC, after 28th May, would have played in every single possible game they could have this season.

Ramsay, hence, would have a chance at getting gametime if he does make the move to Anfield. Joe Gomez, who has flourished as a centre-back in the past, has had to deputise for TAA down that flank in recent weeks.

Neco Williams was allowed to leave on a loan spell this season and it remains to be seen if the Welshman has a future at the club. Ki-Jana Hoever was similarly deemed surplus to requirements at Liverpool, albeit on a permanent basis, when he was sold to Wolves back in 2020.
