The Ex-Inter Milan midfielder is set to become a free agent this summer, and given how well he has performed since returning to the English top flight, one can only assume that there will be much interest in him.
However, it appears that Antonio Conte’s Spurs has made the decision to forgo a reunion with their ex-player, leaving Erik Ten Hag’s side in the best position to secure the services of the highly-rated playmaker, as per reports from the Daily Star.
With the Daily Mirror recently reporting that the Denmark international was one of Erik Ten Hag’s target alongside Dutch midfielder, Frenkie de Jong, Eriksen looks to be the perfect match for the style of play of the Dutch tactician.
A established and experienced player like Eriksen could be ideal to assist the Dutch coach get off to a great start in what will be a difficult season for Ten Hag in his debut campaign at the Threatre of Dreams.
