According to a report released by Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City youngster, Romeo Lavia, has completed a move to Southampton in a deal worth around £12 million.
The sensational midfielder is considered to be one of the brightest player in Manchester City’s academy. Romeo Lavia isn’t the most productive player, but his incredible workrate is worthy of admiration.
The Belgian youngster mustered just two goals and provided one assist in 20 appearances in the Academy last season. In addition to that, Romeo Lavia recovered more grounds than any other player in the division last season.
Reports suggest that Manchester City decided to put a buy-back clause of around £40 million in his permanent deal to Southampton.
There is every indication that the Premier League champions would be prepared to activate the clause if Lavia impresses during his stint at Southampton.
